'Children's First AI Class' is just the beginning," said Laura, Project Initiator, Executive President of Xueersi, and Chairman of Xueersi Charitable Foundation. "With the growing recognition of AI literacy at all levels, we also hope to contribute concretely in this field, providing support and value. Our aim is to enable more children to access and understand artificial intelligence at an early stage. Xueersi will remain committed to driving educational innovation and inclusiveness with love and technology, harnessing AI to serve humanity and supporting the lifelong growth of children."

Xueersi’s "Children's First AI Class" Project Concludes, Collaborating with Haixia's "Forever-Bond Program" to Deepen Education Public Welfare

From September 8 to 12, in Anshun, Rongjiang, Huamao of Guizhou, Xueersi, in collaboration with Tencent Public Welfare, launched the "Children's First AI Class" public welfare project, delivering AI literacy courses filled with knowledge and joy to local children. This initiative marked the successful conclusion of the 2025 Summer Public Welfare Campaign. At the same time, Xueersi officially joined the "Forever-Bond Program," a public welfare initiative initiated by CCTV news anchor Haixia, donating Xueersi "Mini Museums," Xueersi learning devices, quality books, and other resources to local schools to promote education public welfare and foster long-term development.

Since its official launch in June, the "Children's First AI Class" has collaborated with 29 university teaching support teams, covering over 120 primary schools across China and benefiting more than 20,000 students. With specially designed course content created by Xueersi for this project, children experienced hands-on applications and developed a practical understanding of AI through interactive and practice-based learning, fostering their comprehension of technology and inspiring their interest in innovation.

Recently, Xueersi's "Children's First AI Class" also became available on the "Learning Power" platform, providing convenient access to schools, teachers, students, and families nationwide, further promoting the awareness of AI literacy.

Nestled in the heart of Guizhou, Anshun boasts a rich historical culture and unique intangible cultural heritage such as the "Anshun Dixi Opera." Now, the profound reading culture can also be felt throughout the elementary school campuses.

"The children were incredibly enthusiastic!" said Ms. Li, a Xueersi teacher who traveled from Beijing to deliver a general AI literacy class at Tianlong Central Primary School. She guided the children to explore what AI is, introduced common large models, and shared practical applications of AI. She also showed them how to use "AI Thinkie" to create photos of their dream jobs in the future. "Seeing 'their grown-up selves,' the children were thrilled! The excitement over AI's cool capabilities made the classroom environment livelier, prompting even more enthusiastic engagement and active questioning," she added.

On the occasion of the "99 Giving Day," Xueersi collaborated with the "Forever-Bond Program" team to visit Guizhou and Shanghai. In Guizhou, the team brought AI literacy and natural exploration science courses to three elementary schools, donating learning devices, mini-museums, AI smart glasses, and other educational materials to enrich science education resources in local schools.

Natural history lessons were equally captivating, hosted by Dr. Dan Zhang, head of Xueersi's Natural History program. Students were excited to engage in close-up observations of teaching aids, such as mineral fossils and insect specimens, which fueled their curiosity about the natural world. They enthusiastically took notes, deeply immersed in the learning process. Notably, the "Mini Museums for Children" public welfare project, launched by Xueersi's Natural History team in partnership with Peking University's School of Life Sciences, has already visited over 100 schools, extending the benefits of science education to children in Guizhou through this initiative.

As a company dedicated to education philanthropy for many years, Xueersi implements multiple public welfare projects through donations, resource sharing, and technological support, while also uniting diverse societal forces to advance public welfare education. The collaboration with Tencent Public Welfare, the "Forever-Bond Program," and volunteer teams from various universities exemplifies its mission to sow the seeds of AI and scientific knowledge into young hearts.

Inspiring Creativity with Enrichment Learning, Bringing the Future Within Reach

On September 7, Xueersi participated in a reading activity and donation ceremony hosted by the "Forever-Bond Program" at Wujiaochang Wanda Plaza in Shanghai. The event, presided over by Zeng Kan, a renowned CCTV Sports Channel commentator, encouraged students to share their reading experiences, instilling a love for learning. Additionally, Xueersi's donation of learning devices and teaching materials as part of the "Forever-Bond Program" aims to benefit an even greater number of children.

While spreading scientific knowledge in several Guizhou primary schools, Xueersi also collaborated with Diao Lipin, Deputy Director of Guizhou Geological Museum, to join Dr. Dan Zhang from Xueersi's Natural History program in presenting an online museum exploration livestream for students nationwide, expanding the horizons of public welfare education.

The impact of this public welfare initiative extended far beyond Shanghai and Guizhou. The recently launched "Children's First AI Class" on the "Learning Power" platform has opened up accessible AI literacy education for schools, teachers, students, and families across the country.

Wherever it is implemented, educational philanthropy has the potential to ignite dreams in children's hearts and guide them toward their aspirations.

In recent years, the importance of science education has been increasingly emphasized, with AI literacy cultivation emerging as a focal point in educational development. From national policies to grassroots schools, the prioritization of scientific and AI education in curricula continues to rise. Leveraging its long-standing expertise in enrichment education and EdTech, Xueersi integrates its educational products and concepts into philanthropic projects—a commitment demonstrated through initiatives like the “Hand-in-Hand” learning device donation, “Mini Museums for Children,” and “Children’s First AI Class.” These efforts aim to transition from "knowledge delivery" to "thinking empowerment," enabling urban and rural children alike to witness the beauty of science and build confidence in innovation.
