Xueersi CTO Tian Mi Attends Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Conference: AI Constructs the Next Generation of Personalized Education

Recently, Xueersi CTO Tian Mi was invited to participate in the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) conference and delivered a keynote speech titled "Building the Next Generation of Personalized Education through Educational Large Models". In his speech, he shared of Xueersi in driving educational development with AI technology and discussed the experience of Chinese educational technology with global counterparts.

The Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) is a regional intergovernmental organization founded jointly by several Southeast Asian governments in 1965. It primarily helps member countries in Southeast Asia engage in activities beneficial to educational development and promotes the protection of the independence, integrity, and diversity of each member country's cultural and educational systems. SEAMEO has been committed to promoting regional cooperation in education, science, and culture.

Taking Xueersi's large model MathGPT as an example, educational AI technology has made significant improvements in model generalization, performance, and interactivity. The MathGPT model has seen numerous innovative developments over the past year, continually enhancing its capabilities, achieving lower costs, and better outcomes in educational scenarios than general models.

Tian Mi also highlighted several AI capabilities based on educational large models at the conference: AI problem-solving, AI grading, AI explanation, and AI question recommendation. These capabilities have been applied in products like the Xueersi Xpad, receiving unanimous praise from users. Furthermore, these capabilities have formed a learning data flywheel driven by educational large models. The more students use it, the richer the learning data becomes, resulting in more precise recommendations and continually improving learning efficiency.

How to leverage cutting-edge technologies like large models to better promote educational equity and personalization is a topic faced by countries worldwide. International sharing, exchanges, and cooperation may provide opportunities for thought interaction and innovative integration. Tian Mi stated that the SEAMEO conference was very fruitful.
