Focusing on "AI Empowering Education Reform," Zhu Yongxin led the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Education, Science, Health and Sports Committee's research group in Beijing.

   On the afternoon of February 25, the CPPCC Education, Science, Health and Sports Committee conducted a research visit to Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications and TAL Education Group. Zhu Yongxin, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC and Executive Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the China Association for Promoting Democracy, attended and delivered a speech.

   The research group listened to briefings from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications and TAL Education Group on relevant topics and held discussions with representatives from the organizations.

   The research group stated that President Xi Jinping has put forward a series of important requirements to promote the digitization of education, providing clear direction for the practice of AI empowering education reform. Currently, AI is profoundly influencing and transforming the modes of education, bringing multiple challenges as well as numerous opportunities for the development of education. It is essential to follow the spirit of President Xi Jinping important instructions, actively explore new measures for high-quality education development in the AI era, and provide new solutions for AI to aid education reform.

   The research group emphasized the need to focus on significant contemporary educational issues, such as how AI can further promote balanced educational development, how it can facilitate changes in teaching organization forms, and how to advance personalized education practices. By proactively practicing, conducting systematic research, and summarizing experiences, it aims to contribute solidly to the construction of an educational powerhouse and to open new development paths and create new advantages.

   CPPCC Standing Committee member and Director of the Education, Science, Health, and Sports Committee Chen Baosheng; Deputy Director of the Committee Shang Yong; CPPCC Standing Committee members Sun Yao, Cong Bing, Zheng Fuzhi, Liu Lin, Liu Ru, Jiang Yaodong, and Xu Kun participated in the research.
