On November 10th, He Defang, Deputy Secretary-General of the Ministry of Science and Technology, came to Yongxin County, Jiangxi Province for research and investigation. As the official contractor of the national new generation of artificial intelligence open innovation platform for smart education, TAL Education Group donated a dual-teacher AI classroom to Yongxin County and Jinggangshan City, including high-quality educational resources, hardware, software, teacher training, etc., to assist in building smart education demonstration schools and further enhance local education quality and educational informatization levels.

Yongxin County and Jinggangshan City are two red revolutionary old districts subordinate to Jiangxi Province. After Jinggangshan City was the first to overcome poverty in the country in 2017, Yongxin County also successfully lifted itself out of poverty the following year. Nowadays, the old revolutionary base areas are rejuvenating with "new" charm - relying on scientific and technological forces to drive rapid development in rural areas and strive to become a model of rural revitalization driven by innovation.

In this donation cooperation, TAL Education Group will continue to accumulate and strengthen its advantages in the field of science and technology education. In terms of hardware, it will donate a dual-teacher AI classroom, 15 teaching and self-study machines, AI courses, and other supporting materials to Yongxin County and Jinggangshan City. In terms of software and teaching research, it will provide three sets of exclusive teaching research cloud packages, one intelligent self-study room plan, and study materials and has already trained and guided teachers in seven schools in Yongxin County and Jinggangshan City. The total value of the donation exceeds RMB 500,000.

As of now, the intelligent hardware of the dual-teacher AI classroom has been delivered to the paired schools in Yongxin County and Jinggangshan City, and the hardware of the intelligent self-study machines in the self-study room is also on its way and will soon be installed and put into use.
