On July 28, 2020, the open cooperation conference of the 2020 TAL Education Group TI Smart Education (hereinafter referred to as the "TI Conference") was held in Beijing. With the theme of "Walking Together towards the Future," the conference focused on the exploration and implementation of scientific and educational products in educational scenarios. At the conference, the Good Future Research Cloud and Live Cloud were newly upgraded and unveiled. The Chinese Academy of Educational Sciences (hereinafter referred to as "China Education Academy"), in collaboration with Aurora Consultancy and Good Future, released the "2020 China K-12 Education Training To B Market Development Report" and jointly launched the Future School Research Project with Good Future to help the industry move towards a new era of digital and intelligent teaching.

With the rapid development of digital technology, a good course in the information age requires the support of high-quality teaching research content and high-tech lesson planning tools. Online lesson planning and digitized courseware have gradually become standard configurations for teachers. Therefore, Good Future has opened up the research cloud system to all teachers in the industry for the first time, allowing every teacher to have a user-friendly and professional "treasure trove" for teaching.

The Live Cloud version is upgraded, creating a brand-new "online classroom"

At this conference, the Good Future Live Cloud was upgraded to version 3.0, iterating around the teaching pain points of the "online classroom." Through group gathering modes, roll call functions, and other features, the live cloud aims to authentically recreate the offline classroom to create a sense of ceremony in online teaching. Interaction features such as interactive whiteboards aim to create an interactive teaching environment, where every progress of the students can be seen. Features like the PK mode and honor roll in the "X Space" highlight commendation and encouragement in online teaching, creating a focus on online teaching.

Furthermore, the new release of the live cloud includes a 30-person small class mode, which helps training institutions to conveniently transition offline small class courses to online and fully retain the interactive experience of offline classes.

To create more educationally insightful online classes, more than 60 interactive experience features are included in the upgraded Live Cloud. As the live cloud product introduction states, "Tools are gradually receding into the background, allowing teachers to conduct every online class as effectively as in person."

Advancing the digitization of education, Tencent Cloud and Good Future Smart Education Open Platform deepen cooperation

In 2019, Tencent Cloud and the Good Future Smart Education Open Platform initiated their first strategic project, with Tencent Cloud supporting Good Future's dual-teacher live broadcasting classroom through cloud services. This project aims to achieve educational equity and ensure that students across the country, regardless of their location, have access to high-quality educational resources.

At this conference, Tencent Cloud and the Good Future Smart Education Open Platform announced a further deepening of their cooperation. Drawing on Tencent's strong connectivity capabilities and underlying technologies, and leveraging Good Future's practical experience and accumulation in the education industry, both parties will closely collaborate on education infrastructure, industry standards, and Internet + education application platforms, driving the digital development of the education industry and accelerating the process of education equity.

Qiu Yuepeng, Vice President of Tencent and President of Tencent Cloud, stated that Tencent Cloud and the Good Future Smart Education Open Platform will leverage their respective industry advantages, build high-quality educational applications and personalized content, and serve as digital assistants for enterprise service portals and government service portals, enhancing the quality of education.

Collaborating with professional organizations, promoting the exploration and implementation of future scientific and educational practices in extracurricular settings

At the conference, the China Academy of Education Sciences, together with Aurora Consultancy and Good Future, released the "2020 China K-12 Education Training To B Market Development Report," painting a comprehensive picture of the future landscape of the To B (enterprise service) market for education. Wang Su, Director of the Future School Laboratory at China Academy of Education Sciences, stated that due to the impact of the epidemic, the future of education will exhibit a trend of diversification. The education training To B market will move towards internal integration and mutual support, while externally it will cross borders and integrate, creating a new pattern that encompasses the entire scene. Thus, various forces need to work together to better empower extracurricular training institutions and help them improve the quality of their education.

On July 20 of this year, Good Future was awarded the "Future School Research Community" plaque by the China Academy of Education Sciences. At the conference, Good Future invited three representatives from extracurricular training institutions—Gao Juan, Principal of Hebei Baoding Top Training School, Li Yanfei, Principal of Hebei Handan Tianjiao Education and Training School, and Lu Jing, Principal of Henan Aishangke Education Co., Ltd., to officially launch the Future School Research Project aimed at extracurricular systems. This marks the first time that extracurricular education and training institutions have participated in the important research on future schools. The Deputy Director of the Future School Laboratory at China Academy of Education Sciences, Cao Peijie, stated that the Future School Research Community will leverage its research leadership advantage to achieve common and shared resources and information, establish connections between internal and external schools, and explore the development of a future school model with rich Chinese characteristics.
