Entering the offline consumption scene through the education complex is a unanimous choice for many online education companies. At the 2019 Beijing International Fair, TAL Education Group unveiled its latest smart education products "Smart Classroom with Pen and Paper," "AI Teacher," and "Future Cloud Platform," and focused on promoting its education complex "Longguan Hui" in Beijing.

According to Wan Yiting, the Chief Public Affairs Officer of TAL Education Group, the educational complex project of TAL Education Group is a project determined by the cooperation between the group and Changping Development with the support of the Changping District Government in Beijing. The project is located in the Changping Development and Innovation Center of Changping District, with an area of 12,000 square meters. The project is named "Longguan Hui" and is positioned as a "community family education growth center integrating production, research, and community."

"TAL Education Group hopes to explore smart education with the Changping District Government, sign a strategic cooperation agreement, help primary and secondary schools in Changping District create smart classroom solutions, and assist in the informatization construction of primary and secondary education in Changping," said Wan Yiting.

It is understood that the "Longguan Hui" project showcases the new integrated complex's three main features: "Combination of Children's Center and Community College," "Combination of Cultural Space and Community Operation," and "Combination of Educational Training and Smart Research." The project is divided into four sections: "Children's Education Center" providing education services such as subject education, children's English, art training, robot STEAM education, and children's physical fitness; "Community College" providing various interest-based training for parents, such as music, flower arrangement, and baking; "Community Cultural Living Room" containing open cultural and leisure spaces including community libraries, community cafes, and cultural activity stages; and "Education Research Exchange Center" providing scientific research and industry exchange for educational companies.

Of note, AI Teacher, the language learning system of Xueersi Education, a subsidiary of TAL Education, was selected as a demonstration case for the 2019 Beijing International Fair. The system integrates Xueersi Online School's independently developed voice recognition and voice evaluation technologies to assist in Chinese language learning. It not only helps children in minority areas in China learn Mandarin, but also assists foreign friends with Chinese language learning needs. Currently, the system has further explored adaptive language learning and has successively developed multi-language teaching functions, including Russian, French, Czech, and other languages, for friends from countries along the "Belt and Road" to learn Chinese.
