Artificial intelligence is looming ahead, where will humanity go? On January 25th, at the "Empowering Education, Exploring the Future with 'AI+' Education" academic seminar hosted by Tomorrow Advancing Life, it was officially announced that Tomorrow Advancing Life has established the first "Brain Science Laboratory" in the domestic education and training industry, to promote academic research and product development of "technology + education" through brain science, and to practice the corporate mission of "promoting education progress with technology."
At the seminar, Shu Hua, from the Science and Technology Department of the Ministry of Education, stated that with the rapid development of frontier technologies such as brain science, the education and industrial sectors will have greater integration space, and will also bring more opportunities and challenges to the education industry. In the future, information technology will bring revolutionary impact to education, and the basic research and cross-fusion of educational science will help accelerate the process of educational informatization and promote the modernization of education.
Tomorrow Advancing Life CTO Huang Yan, Stanford University Computer Science Professor James A. Landay, Professor Zhou Xinlin from the State Key Laboratory of Cognitive Neuroscience and Learning at Beijing Normal University, and Nie Zaiqing, Head of the Alibaba AI Laboratory Beijing R&D Center, gathered to explore the new trends and future directions of using technology to empower education from the fields of brain science and artificial intelligence.
Currently, technological development is progressing at a speed beyond human self-recognition. As a result, many countries have raised the research of brain intelligence to the level of national strategic importance. The European Union and the United States have successively launched large-scale research projects such as the "Human Brain Project" and the "Brain Research Program." China will also launch a series of major brain science research projects such as the "China Brain Project." At the seminar, Tomorrow Advancing Life CTO Huang Yan stated that the essence of education is the nurturing of the brain. As a company that continuously explores future human learning methods, Tomorrow Advancing Life "hopes to help students match personalized learning content and dynamically adjust brain learning states through brain science research and feedback, develop the art of teaching into the science of teaching, and realize the cooperative coordination of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and brain science, so that technology serves people, and the next generation can better adapt to future society."

It is reported that Tomorrow Advancing Life has established the Brain Science Laboratory, aiming to explore the learning motives of students based on a large amount of student learning data. At the same time, through the establishment of the "Brain Science Laboratory," Tomorrow Advancing Life will also join hands with major universities to gradually promote research and development in the field of brain science, and help unleash greater potential in education. Currently, Tomorrow Advancing Life has 4,000 technical, product, and teaching R&D personnel. In the next three years, this number will exceed 10,000, including a 500-person AI and brain science R&D team. At the same time, Tomorrow Advancing Life will also establish six joint laboratories supported by top scientists and outstanding research institutes globally, and will establish an overseas R&D center in 2018 to jointly promote progress in "technology + education."

Yang Ying, an internationally renowned brain science expert and head of Tomorrow Advancing Life's Brain Science Laboratory, told reporters that brain science education will become an important sub-field, and various business models and cutting-edge topics are emerging. It is understood that the focus of Tomorrow Advancing Life's Brain Science Laboratory's research will be threefold: using objective monitoring of brain function to strengthen classroom diagnosis and observation, laying a solid foundation for tracking the long-term effective "learning journey" of the human brain; researching a more targeted and accurate learning ability evaluation system; and designing corresponding products under scientific guidance to inspire the best learning state of the brain.
Professor Zhou Xinlin from the State Key Laboratory of Cognitive Neuroscience and Learning at Beijing Normal University analyzed how brain science can be integrated with education to make the brain smarter. Zhou Xinlin hopes that through cutting-edge technologies such as semantic processing and speech processing, children can improve their computational abilities while also developing the ability to creatively solve problems. At the "Brain Science Roundtable Forum" at the seminar, many experts and scholars from universities also stated that frontier brain science technologies such as neuroscience and brain-computer interfaces will also be deeply applied in the field of education in the future.

On that day, Tomorrow Advancing Life also announced a strategic cooperation with Stanford University to jointly create a more efficient education model through advancing AI research, unlocking the potential of the global education ecosystem. With the rapid development of science and technology, "AI+education" has become a new education model that will expand the coverage of high-quality education, allowing more students to enjoy quality education. At the same time, "technological innovation" has gradually become the core driving force of future education. Domestic and foreign education technology giants are actively seeking the cross-border integration and innovative development of "education + technology" in response to the trend.
This seminar sparked discussions about the combination of brain science, AI, and education. The combination of brain science, AI, and education has not only attracted private education companies like Tomorrow Advancing Life, but has also become an important research direction of various universities and brain science experts in China. In the future, all aspects of the education industry chain will continue to promote the integration of advanced technology and education, jointly helping China's education enter a new stage of innovation, openness, and integration.
