The model has been integrated into a unified application system (https://smartedu-bnu.tal.com/) and is now featured in the Beijing Municipal Education Commission's AI Application Marketplace. Over 60 schools in Haidian and Dongcheng districts have begun trialing it.

Beijing Normal University and TAL jointly developed the first foundational education model closely aligned with the new curriculum standard knowledge framework.

Recently, the "University-City Cooperation: Intelligence Drives the Future" Forum on Campus-City Integration was held at Beijing Normal University. The forum announced three representative achievements in the field of artificial intelligence empowering fundamental education under the specific guidance of the Beijing Municipal Education Commission and with the support of the Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission. These achievements include the "Shicheng Wanxiang" Fundamental Education Large Model, the "Polaris" Fundamental Education Large Model Evaluation Framework, and the "Artificial Intelligence Empowers Fundamental Education Applications" Blue Paper and Case Collection.

As one of the first Beijing Artificial Intelligence Application Joint R&D Platforms, the Fundamental Education Beijing AI Scenario Application Platform was jointly established by Beijing Normal University and TAL Education Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “TAL”).
Under the specific guidance of the Beijing Municipal Education Commission, the Ministry of Education's Engineering Research Center for Intelligent Technology and Educational Applications at Beijing Normal University (hereinafter referred to as the "Engineering Research Center") and TAL jointly developed the first foundational education model closely aligned with the new curriculum standard knowledge framework — the "Shicheng Wanxiang" Fundamental Education Large Model. This model achieves a deep understanding of the new curriculum standards and possesses educational capacities such as knowledge comprehension-based intelligent problem-solving, heuristic-guided intelligent question answering, situational scenario-creation intelligent problem-setting, and competency-oriented lesson plan generation. It effectively meets the practical needs of educational scenarios and improves the model's practicality and professionalism in actual teaching applications.

Currently, this model has been integrated into a unified application system (https://smartedu-bnu.tal.com/) and is available in the Beijing Municipal Education Commission's AI Application Marketplace. More than 60 schools in Haidian and Dongcheng districts have already started trialing it.
