On April 22, TAL and Renbei High School co-hosted a strategic cooperation signing ceremony and the unveiling of the "Smart Education National New Generation Artificial Intelligence Open Innovation Platform Renbei High School Joint Laboratory." TAL CTO and MathGPT  General Manager, Tian Mi, along with Executive Principal of Renbei High School, Zhang Chaoyue, attended the event.

Both parties reached a consensus on cooperating in areas such as building smart education classrooms and the digital transformation of basic education. They aim to integrate TAL's products like Jiuzhang Aixue with Renbei High School's classroom practices to explore innovative smart classrooms leveraging "education + AI."

Zhang Chaoyue expressed the expectation that through this collaboration, Renbei High School and TAL can form a community that shares resources, complements each other, and innovates collaboratively. The joint laboratory will serve as an incubator for nurturing scientific dreams, providing students with an immersive technological learning experience. The AI open innovation platform will drive teaching model transformation by precisely analyzing learning trajectories through intelligent terminals, effectively enabling a dual-directional precise connection between teaching and learning.

Renbei High School, established in 2022 with approval from the Haidian District Education Commission, is a high-quality private boarding high school. It specializes in science education and technological innovation, offering a comprehensive curriculum covering college entrance exams, basic strengthening programs, and subject competitions. With a strong emphasis on technology-enabled education, Renbei has developed an efficient classroom model with a virtuous cycle of personalized implementation and communication feedback, refined to analyze the specific knowledge and skill modules and implementation effects of every exam. This collaboration with TAL marks a significant opportunity for advancing smart education.

TAL CTO Tian Mi introduced that through educational AI products like Jiuzhang Aixue, it is possible to achieve the "impossible triangle" of high-quality, large-scale, and personalized education: "In the past, achieving personalization meant missing out on high quality and large scale in teaching. With AI systems introduced, all three can be realized simultaneously." He noted that Jiuzhang Aixue has been in use at Renbei High School for several months, yielding very positive results, with classes using JiuzhangAixue products experiencing noticeable improvements in exam scores.

TAL has years of exploration and practical experience in the AI+Education field and has gained national recognition for its scientific research capabilities in smart education. In 2019, the Ministry of Science and Technology approved the establishment of the Smart Education National New Generation Artificial Intelligence Open Innovation Platform, leveraging capabilities from this platform in TAL's tech products like Jiuzhang Aixue since the large model boom in 2023.

JiuzhangAixue, as a key product of this collaboration, utilizes the campus-wide multi-scenario AI learning system of the MathGPT model to empower the entire teaching process for teachers and students before, during, and after class through various features. Jiuzhang Aixue can implement applications in AI learning situation analysis, AI learning path planning, and AI intelligent Q&A to help students better identify weaknesses, practice more accurately, and aid teachers in more effectively analyzing learning situations and providing personalized teaching, thereby promoting efficient student learning.

Recently, the Ministry of Education and eight other departments jointly issued an "Opinion on Accelerating Educational Digitization," advocating for educational reform in the intelligent era, enhancing forward-looking layouts like artificial intelligence, promoting large-scale applications of AI in education in stages, and exploring new paradigms for "AI+Education" scenario applications. The collaboration between TAL and Renbei High School represents a deep exploration of integrating "AI+Education" with campus learning scenarios, continuously advancing the construction of smart education on campuses, creating more possibilities for technology-enabled education in the future.

On the day of the signing, TAL CTO Tian Mi also provided Renbei High School students with a session on the basic principles and application methods of large model AI technology, thoroughly answering various questions from the students.
