Recently, Xueersi Online School held the launch event of the "Xueersi Natural History Department" series of products, attended by several domestic science popularization experts and museum directors. More than 2,500 years ago, Confucius said, "Know the names of plants and animals", and 100 years later, the Western sage Aristotle said, "In all things of nature there is something of the marvelous." From ancient times to the present, natural history education has always been advocated.

So, what exactly is natural history? Zhang Jinshuo, Director of the National Zoological Museum, summarizes it as: "Let children know what everything is, this is natural history."

Indeed, natural history is an ancient discipline in which humanity interacts with nature, serving as a bridge between natural sciences and humanities, and as a way to understand the world.
