TAL Education Group's new brand, Lightboat, has officially launched, integrating postgraduate entrance examination, overseas study and language training services.

Yesterday, TAL Education Group's Lightboat brand was officially launched. It integrates three sub-brands: Lightboat Graduate School Entrance Examination, Lightboat Test Preparation, and Lightboat Overseas Study, aiming to create a one-stop platform dedicated to young people's comprehensive improvement. At the launch event, Lightboat Graduate School Entrance Examination simultaneously released the "Same Boat Plan", which is dedicated to connecting users with graduate school entrance examination service institutions and addressing issues such as imbalance between supply and demand.

Dr. Wan Yiting, Executive President of TAL Education Group, stated that over the years, TAL has always attached great importance to leveraging its years of accumulation in the education field to actively support lifelong learning. "We are delighted to see that more and more young people have set lofty goals and hope to broaden their horizons and enrich themselves through various means such as postgraduate studies and overseas study."

In recent years, the number of college students has continued to grow. According to the progress of employment work for college graduates released by the Department of College Students of the Ministry of Education on May 13, the total number of graduates from regular colleges and universities in 2021 was 9.09 million, an increase of 350,000 compared to the previous year.

The increasing number of graduates each year has led to changes in the employment environment and growing competition pressure. Young people with postgraduate entrance examination needs are facing problems such as opaque examination preparation information, lack of reliable guidance from institutions, and lack of high-quality application and tutoring services.

As of now, the "Same Boat Plan" has provided services to 200 institutions.

In addition to Lightboat Graduate School Entrance Examination, Lightboat Test Preparation and Lightboat Overseas Study have also made corresponding service and brand upgrades. Lightboat Test Preparation aims to help young people improve their language learning ability, deeply integrating language learning with TOEFL, IELTS, GRE, and GMAT examinations. Lightboat Overseas Study is dedicated to creating a professional, transparent, and efficient full-process overseas study service, providing young people with more detailed services through its self-developed overseas study application service system.

Currently, Lightboat Graduate School Entrance Examination has accumulated 23 million users; Lightboat Test Preparation has served 39 million users since 2019; and Lightboat Overseas Study has helped over 20,000 people successfully study abroad through its self-developed system.
