On September 17, 2020 Yunqi Conference Digital Intelligence Internet Summit was held in Beijing. Tian Mi, CTO of TAL Education Group, was invited to attend and deliver a keynote speech titled "Love and Technology Make Education Better", comprehensively showcase TAL's technology layout and its technological education practices represented by Xueersi Online School as part of the TAL Education Group, and sharing the progress of the National New Generation Artificial Intelligence Open Innovation Platform for Intelligent Education.

At the meeting, Tian Mi, CTO of Four Seas Technology, and Zhong Tianhua, Vice President of Alibaba Group, announced that Four Seas and Alibaba Cloud have reached a strategic cooperation to continuously deepen the ecological synergy between the two parties in cloud computing and data technology. Alibaba Cloud has officially become an ecological partner of the Wisdom Education National New Generation Artificial Intelligence Open Innovation Platform, both parties will jointly promote the construction of a new infrastructure for the education industry and promote the transformation of educational informatization from IT (information technology) to DT (data technology), using technology to achieve better education.

Tian Mi stated that as a leading technology education company in China, Four Seas has always adhered to the mission of "Love and Technology Make Education Better", vigorously investing in technology research and development, and explored the integration of technology and education through the "Three-Step" approach of online, digital, and intelligent dual-teacher system. At present, we have established a complete set of tech system with TAL Education Group characteristics, including artificial intelligence, big data, live streaming, cognitive neuroscience, etc., covering the entire teaching cycle from pre-class to post-class scenarios.

At the meeting, Tian Mi presented TAL Educhao ation Group's independently developed intelligent educational software and hardware of Four Seas to the in-person guests, including the "Xueersi Online School AI Teacher Chinese Learning System" that helps Yi children in Daliang Mountain, Sichuan, break through language barriers, the "Oral Expression Ability Evaluation Solution" that smartly assesses children's Chinese and English oral expression abilities, the "GodEye Classroom Quality Guardian Solution" which intelligently assess student learning and teacher teaching behaviors, as well as intelligent education hardware that deploys AI chips embedded in terminals, significantly lowering the threshold for implementation.

These technological education achievements, which originate from a dedication to education and are implemented through technology, are gradually enhancing the technological foundation of TAL Education Group. It is also relying on the accumulation of solid technological capabilities and a deep understanding of smart education TAL Education Group was approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology in 2019 to build the National New Generation Artificial Intelligence Open Innovation Platform for Smart Education.

In 2017, Four Seas and Alibaba Cloud reached their first cooperation, and Alibaba Cloud laid the foundation for ensuring online teaching and learning experiences with stable, efficient, and elastic cloud services. During the epidemic this year, Four Seas actively responded to the call of the Ministry of Education to "suspend classes without suspending learning", offering free live broadcast lessons for students in primary and secondary schools nationwide, and providing online classroom platforms and technical support to public schools and educational institutions. Faced with the peak period of daily concurrent traffic of 60 million students and over 1 million students per class, Alibaba Cloud's technical team and Four Seas together fought in the front line of "epidemic prevention and control".

In the future, relying on the national new generation artificial intelligence open innovation platform for smart education, both parties will leverage their respective strengths to continue to increase investment in cloud resources and carry out cooperation in artificial intelligence, big data, live streaming, and network security, among other fields.
