The Global Trade in Services Summit of China International Fair for Trade in Services 2020 will be held on the evening of September 4 in Beijing. As the first major event of the 2020 Fair for Trade in Services, the summit will invite national leaders, foreign dignitaries, leaders of international organizations, Fortune 500 and industry-leading business executives. As the only invited Chinese online education company, the Executive President of TAL Education Group, Wan Yiting, will attend the summit.

The holding of the Global Services Trade Summit signifies the official opening of the 2020 Fair for Trade in Services. At the Education Special Exhibition of the Fair from September 5th to 9th, TAL Education Group will showcase several industry-first or unique artificial intelligence education products and solutions, including the XRS Online AI Chinese Learning System. The thematic exhibition is centered around "Leading the Future through Education – Openness, Cooperation, Innovation, and Development", focusing on "Technology, Cutting-Edge, and Novelty".

Last year, TAL Education Group was approved to become a national next-generation artificial intelligence open innovation platform construction company. At the Education Special Exhibition of this Fair for Trade in Services, TAL Education Group will showcase the industry-unique "GodEye Classroom Teaching Analysis System", which helps teachers to better prepare and practice lessons before class through AI technology.

In the past, teachers often had to repeatedly practice in an empty classroom during lesson preparation, resulting in only partial improvement in proficiency. However, it was difficult for them to judge which aspects needed improvement. Through AI technology, it's possible to provide data-driven assessment reports based on a teacher's interaction, examples, expressions, body movements and other indicators in the course of teaching, guiding them to improve their teaching abilities.

In addition, TAL Education Group will also systematically  showcase various artificial intelligence application solutions that cover various teaching stages such as teaching, studying, testing, practicing, and evaluation. These solutions have been widely applied in the various business systems of TAL Education Group.

For example, the Chinese-English Oral Expression Capability Assessment System, developed based on the company's leading children's speech recognition technology and multidimensional oral expression evaluation algorithm, is able to comprehensively evaluate the oral expression abilities of children aged 3-14 and provide score and comment suggestions, supporting functions such as oral admission tests, classroom speaking evaluations, and oral exercise corrections.

The mental math correction solution developed based on the OCR deep learning algorithm has been applied to applications such as elementary school mental math. It can quickly identify the content of a math question, judge the correctness of the answer, and assign the corresponding score through image normalization, question detection, text recognition, and judgment modules.

In addition, the "XRS Online AI Chinese Learning System" developed by TAL Education Group's XRS Online School will also be showcased at this exhibition.

This system not only helps children in ethnic minority areas learn Mandarin, thus helping with poverty alleviation through education, but also applies to the teaching of Chinese language in countries along the Belt and Road Initiative, promoting Chinese culture globally.

In April of this year, UNESCO awarded TAL Education Group the "Artificial Intelligence and Inclusion" Innovation Demonstration Project Certificate for the 2020 Mobile Learning Week. The system was also selected as the only Chinese education informatization project in the top five of the 2019 UNESCO King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa Prize for Information Technology in Education (ICT).
