As the epidemic worsens, the students of Xueersi Peiyou, a subsidiary of TAL Education Group, have also joined the "Support Hubei" campaign. On February 7th, the public welfare points project "Guarding the Future in the Fight against the Epidemic", jointly initiated by Xueersi Peiyou and TAL Education Group Charity Foundation, was officially launched.
It is understood that Xueersi Peiyou students can donate the points obtained from learning, checking in, and class rewards through the Xueersi APP. TAL Education Group Charity Foundation will exchange the points for cash at a certain ratio and donate them to the Beijing Chunmiao Charity Foundation for the purchase of necessary supplies to combat the epidemic, including medical supplies, protective caps, protective clothing, protective goggles, protective masks, and disposable latex gloves.
Xueersi Peiyou stated that the project aims to mobilize the strength of a large number of students, encourage them to donate their learning points, and contribute to fighting the epidemic, spreading more positive energy.
In fact, "Guarding the Future in the Fight against the Epidemic" is the third public welfare points project initiated by Xueersi. Since its launch in September 2019, the public welfare points project has initiated the accumulation of points for the "TAL Education Group Dream Plan" and the "TAL Education Group Library" projects. As of now, 62,000 students from 70 Xueersi Peiyou branches have participated in these two projects, raising a total of 30 million points.
Among them, the "TAL Education Group Dream Plan" sent love packages containing learning materials to 1000 children in remote mountainous areas, and the "TAL Education Group Library" donated thousands of books to children in the Daliangshan area of Sichuan.
The person in charge of Xueersi Peiyou stated that the public welfare points project hopes to enable children to interact with more social groups beyond textbook knowledge, plant seeds of kindness in their hearts, and cultivate their sense of social responsibility and accountability.
